This year Art is again a little different~ that is one of the parts about working in a small, flexible, community driven school that I really have grown to appreciate- every year is a little different! There is no getting bored around here! I will be teaching art to Pre-K up through 8th grade this year, which leaves little time for my newly developed CATS program, but we will figure out a way to squeeze it in during homeroom periods of 2nd and 4th quarter. I had way too much fun with it last year to let it go NOW! Here is a brief run-down of what you can expect from these age levels~ Pre-k and Kindergarten- An exploration of the colors, tools, and media that will be used as they continue in our art program, as well as an introduction to some well-known male and female artists and some not so well known too. |
